About me

I would describe myself as dedicated, curious, energetic, loyal and caring. As a young woman, I dreamed of becoming a journalist and seeking the truth. However, instead, I chose a financial education and information technology focusing on the banking / finance industry. It was a fantastic time with lots of lovely colleagues, trainings and leadership education.

But my curiosity and drive made me step into the world of consultancy and I started working with sales education and leadership to begin with. In 1999, my career within executive search took off when I secured a position at a large American company - and that’s when I found my home. Finding the right challenge for the candidates and the right manager / specialist for the customer is a fantastic job that has given me, and still gives me, so much encouragement and joy! I have always believed that "knowledge can usually be gained but qualities are much more difficult to acquire". Which is why I focus on the personality.

I have worked for myself since 2011. I have had the privilege to work with my customers for a long time, which I enjoy thoroughly. It’s then that I get to know the
management, the culture and sometimes the owners more in-depth, which makes my job even better. I value working with companies that have a clear ownership and are governed by long-term goals and strong values.

Getting to know a person within a short time-frame – who that person is, what drives them, what skills, values and culture they like the most – is always difficult and proves to be quite challenging. This task just humbles me more and more every time. However, my long experience, my intuition and my meticulous method including tests and referencing keeps me confident in my work.

I am accurate and extremely persistent. I never give up the search, no matter how long it takes. I know, that finding the right match can take more time in some cases.

I have also started career coaching and became an ICF certified coach. Getting the time to collaborate with my clients during the process of change is a fantastic journey that I hope to contribute to for a long time.

I am also an executive search consultant authorized by ESK, the only professional association available for recruitment consultants who use active search in their method.
